Laminate Flooring Offers Durability and Easy Maintenance
Laminate Flooring
Laminate flooring has seen increasing popularity over the recent years, thanks to its durability, easy maintenance, and many attractive finishes. Laminate flooring is available in many different species of wood with several stain options, and even tile, slate, and ceramic floors. Produced by combining layers of wood or other materials joined together with an adhesive, laminate flooring can be made to resemble ceramic, porcelain, or slate tile, or hardwood. This decorative layer gives the natural appearance of wood or tile.
Installing laminate flooring instead of traditional tile, slate, or hardwood flooring is an easy process, as laminate flooring features an interlocking seam which allows pieces to lock into each other. It's laid as a floating floor, as boards click together without nails or glue. Laminate installation allows the floor to be walked on immediately after installation is complete. Laminate flooring maintenance is easy, and can be simply swept or mopped. What's more, laminate is durable and withstands normal wear and tear, as well as spilled liquids.
National Floors Direct has expanded our laminate line to include wood, ceramic, and slate laminate in a variety of colors, species, and finishes. Contact National Floors Direct for more information on how to incorporate laminate flooring in your Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia home.
